Dr. Bauer's research primarily focuses on creativity, imagination, and self-regulation. Experiences with creativity in childhood can set the foundation for creativity throughout the lifespan. Despite this, research is limited examining creativity for this age group. As such, Dr. Bauer's research focuses on development of creativity, best ways to measure it, and what developmental skills may support development, specifically, imagination, and self-regulation.
